Shipping & Delivery
This page explains how 1StopDining prepares and delivers orders, the services available, and what to do when your shipment arrives. For help with an order or delivery option, email cs@1stopdining.com.
Availability and estimated lead times
Please contact our team to confirm availability and the current lead time before ordering. We work to dispatch orders promptly, but inventory and timing information on the website can change before an update appears. We will email you with estimated lead times and any delays, so please check for messages about your order.
How orders are shipped
Smaller products generally travel by UPS or FedEx. Large, heavy, or fragile items travel with a specialty freight carrier selected by 1StopDining. Shipment details and tracking information are sent when your order ships.
- Small parcel: Delivery through UPS or FedEx for suitable smaller items.
- Oversized delivery: Specialty carriers deliver oversized or fragile items to the outside of your space. This service does not include carrying merchandise indoors. Arrange for assistance if you will need help moving the items inside.
- White Glove Delivery: Available for an additional charge in most regions. The service includes delivery into your chosen room, unpacking, basic assembly, and carrying the item up one flight of stairs.
White Glove service details
- Shipping-service upgrades cannot be cancelled. White Glove upgrades are non-refundable within 24 hours of delivery.
- Keep the original packaging if you may return your purchase. Missing packaging may result in additional charges or make the item ineligible for a return.
- If the carrier cannot provide the purchased upgrade because of an error, an inability to complete the work, or a safety concern, you will receive the price difference between the upgrade and the service actually provided.
- The service excludes assembling or installing lighting and making changes to your property, such as fastening items to walls or removing door frames.
- If an item will not fit into the intended space, it may be left at the threshold or returned at your expense.
Receiving and inspecting your order
Large deliveries and high-value shipments usually require a signature. Inspect the merchandise before signing the delivery receipt. Record any damage, defect, or other problem on the receipt, take photographs, and report the issue promptly.
A claim will not be accepted when the delivery was signed for without noting the issue being claimed. See our Returns, Refunds & Claims policy for the applicable reporting requirements and instructions.
Orders with multiple items
Our standard practice is to ship an order together once all items are ready. If you request separate shipments, additional shipping charges apply.
Priority shipping and expedited processing
Priority shipping and expedited processing can give an order priority during preparation and shipping arrangements. Contact us before placing your order to discuss the available options.
- Fees are non-refundable. Charges for expedited shipping and processing will not be refunded, including when a carrier misses its estimated transit time.
- Switching to pickup does not make the fees refundable. Once the expedited process begins, the service includes completed administrative and logistical work, such as priority paperwork, warehouse coordination, and transport bookings. The fee remains non-refundable if you subsequently choose to collect the order.
- Transit times depend on the carrier. Giving an order priority does not put carrier transit schedules under our control.
- Freight delivery can require additional time. Large, heavy, or delicate items remain subject to special handling and freight schedules. Faster delivery cannot be guaranteed.
Service areas and additional charges
Standard small-parcel service is available across the contiguous United States, excluding certain remote destinations. Alaska, Hawaii, remote locations, and international destinations require an individual shipping quote.
Some islands, mountain communities, and other remote addresses may fall outside our freight delivery area. Examples include Fire Island, Nantucket, and Martha's Vineyard; this is not a complete list.
Shipments beyond the contiguous United States carry additional charges determined for the individual order. International shipping is also quoted individually. If an item has a high risk of shipping damage to a particular destination, we may cancel the affected order and issue a refund.
After delivery and arrangements with carriers
1StopDining is not responsible for theft or loss after an order has been delivered. We are also not responsible for services or actions outside the scope of your order and our policies, including upgrades or delivery changes that you arrange directly with a carrier.
